After a 25 year hiatus, Jason Mojica makes his return to comics with the forthcoming book, Cicero. The 40-page black & white book is drawn by Mojica from a story he wrote together with novelist & musician Tim Kinsella.
Cicero tells the story of a 16 year-old who wants to forget a humiliating robbery and his father who is hell-bent on getting even. They embark on an ill-conceived, all-night manhunt that exposes glaring differences in their attitudes toward conflict, violence, and masculinity.

OLD WORK
In 1989, at the tender age of 15, Mojica discovered the wonderful world of small press comics and immediately started recruiting his friends to write and draw their own work under the moniker Rocco Comics. Mojica acted as editor / publisher, while also contributing strips and absurdist one-panel gags to Rocco’s esoteric self-published mini-comics & zines. Contributors included: Paul Koob, Jay Lynch, Matt Feazell, Pat Loboyko, Terry Laban, Carole Sobocinski, Jessica Abel, Reed Waller and others. By the mid-90s, Rocco grew into to a punk rock record label, which regularly featured cover art by indie comics artists.
